Known Data Differences

Penalties and Invalidated Plays

  • Pass attempts on penalty-nullified plays are excluded.
  • Targets, completions, and yards from invalidated plays are also excluded.

Example: 2024 Week 5 - MIA @ NE: A penalty-nullified pass creates a mismatch in target counts compared to other sites.

Laterals and Multi-Player Yardage

  • Yards from a lateral play are attributed to the player that first receives the ball

Example: 2024 Week 3 - DET @ ARI: An Amon-Ra St. Brown lateral results in extra yardage for him, even though a teammate advanced the ball. Watch the play

QB Kneels/Spikes

We exclude quarterback kneels and spikes from rushing and passing stats because they don't reflect meaningful offensive production.

Example: 2024 Week 4 - BAL @ LAC: Multiple kneels are not included in Lamar Jackson's rushing totals on Flock.

Mid-Season Trades

Players traded during the season will appear as multiple entries on leaderboard pages — one for each team they played on. Each entry reflects only the stats accumulated with that team.

On player profile pages, you can toggle between team-specific views and a combined view that merges stats across all teams.

See Something Off?

We put a lot of care into verifying our data, but because of the methodology explained above, you may notice some stats that differ from ESPN or other platforms. These differences are intentional and reflect our focus on meaningful football production.

That said, our goal is to give you the most accurate information possible. If you spot something that looks like a genuine error, we'd love to hear about it.
