General Support

For account help, bug reports, feature requests, or general questions:

Bug reports / feedback: You can also submit feedback using the "Feedback" option in the site navigation (where available). If you submit a form, include the email associated with your account so we can find it.

Privacy Requests (DSAR)

You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy/export of your personal data by emailing:

  • Subject line suggestion: "Privacy Request (DSAR) — [Access / Delete / Correct / Export]"

What to include in your request

To help us process your request, please include:

  • the email address associated with your account,
  • the type of request (Access / Delete / Correct / Export),
  • any relevant details (e.g., what you want corrected, or what data you're requesting).

Identity verification

To protect your account, we may ask you to verify your identity before we fulfill certain requests (especially access/export/deletion). Verification usually involves confirming you control the email address associated with your account or confirming recent account activity.

Response time

We aim to respond to privacy requests within 30 days (and within one month where required). If a request is complex or we need more time, we'll let you know.

Authorized agents

If someone is submitting a privacy request on your behalf, we may require proof of authorization and verification of your identity before fulfilling the request.

REMOVE BEFORE LAUNCH

This entire section is an internal checklist and must be removed before the site goes live.

1. Publish locations

  • Add a "Contact" link in your footer (site-wide).
  • If you have an "About" page, add "Contact" there too.

2. DSAR mailbox hygiene

  • Create email filters/labels for: "Support —", "Privacy Request (DSAR) —", "Legal Notice —"
  • Keep a simple log (spreadsheet) with: request date, requester email, request type, verification status, completion date.

3. Feedback form alignment

If your feedback form is Google Forms, ensure the form:

  • asks for the user's account email,
  • asks for a short description + steps to reproduce,
  • optionally allows screenshots.

5. Security

For DSAR exports, choose a secure delivery method:

  • password-protected file, or
  • time-limited link, or
  • confirm identity and send to the verified account email only.

6. Language review (found during audit)

  • "DSAR" acronym — Most users won't know this term. Consider spelling it out ("Data Subject Access Request") or dropping the acronym and just using "Privacy Requests."
  • Response timeline — Page says 30 days (GDPR standard). CCPA requires 45 days. Consider using "within 45 days" or specifying both to cover all users.
